9 Reasons why Manny Pacquiao will lose biggest fight I’ve ever seen

Manny gasping for breath with no help in sight
After months and months of hype, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao finally will step into the ring on Saturday in Las Vegas for a full fight, a fight to see who’s the best in the world. Mayweather will try to keep his 47-0 record (with 26 knockouts) pristine, and Pacquiao (57-5-2, 38 KOs) will do his best to show that he, along with Mayweather, is one of the best fighters in history.

Should Mayweather win, we know how and why it will happen, and if Pacquiao prevails, we know how that’ll occur as well. The big question, of course, is who will actually triumph? Will Mayweather’s desire to badly win this fight and preserve his legacy be enough to overtake the dangerous-punching Pacquiao? Or will Pacquiao take advantage of the theory that Mayweather, at the age of 38, has slowed down enough to allow Pacquiao — who also will have to overcome Mayweather’s mind games to succeed — to catch him with a potential knockout shot?
Floyd donning his favorite belt

We won’t know for sure until early Sunday morning. But until then, plenty of prognosticators have made their predictions. These are the people who should have solid educated guesses, and these are the people who know the two fighter’s tendencies better than most anybody else.

So without further ado, here are 9 reason the experts believe Manny Pacquiao will (without a doubt) lose this fight to Floyd Mayweather:

  • Since his last fight, Pacquiao has lost a step or two with his legs and is not at agile on his feet. He won’t have a chance to connect a punch on Mayweather.
  • His famous coach Freddie will be his greatest undoing owing to the fact that Manny relies too much on him for every decision he makes and this will surely pose a major distraction for Manny, allowing Floyd to seize the opportunity.
  • Judging from his previous fights, Manny is going to be open for the counters and won't be able to make them up with some of the flurries.
  • Floyd is going to take his time and will get Pacquiao missing and take away his confidence in his own offense. You'll see Floyd stepping in with pot-shot counters or not stepping in at all with counters and at times having Pacquiao miss altogether.
  • Floyd stands at 51% advantage and Manny at a paltry 49%. Watching their two styles, Floyd has a slight advantage and will win on points.
  • Mike Tyson has his best bets on Manny and no horse in history has ever gotten Mike a win.
  • Pacquiao's got more to lose. He needs this fight, he needs to win, and with his not so strong sense of self, the pressure will get to him in the 4th round.
  • Mayweather has that quick snapping right hand, probably his main offensive weapon. Plus he'll have his bed mate ref. Kenny Brainless to ensure he gets 48-0.
  • When asked who would win this fight, some of Manny's most loyal friends as well as his supporters including some of my readers have been shockingly evasive and have shown great doubt although unintended, giving meaning to the popular saying "where there's smoke, there's fire".
